Pressure Water Level Gauge
Drop-in level and temperature measurement.
This is a hydrological instrument for measuring water level and water temperature. It has a fully sealed, drop-in stainless steel structure and is widely used in industrial processes, mining, hydrology and water conservancy, and geological exploration.
A pressure water level gauge measures both water level and water temperature from a single drop-in probe. High-quality, high-stability pressure sensing elements are combined with full-range digital calibration and full-temperature-range error compensation for reliable readings across the working range.
The probe outputs over an RS-485 interface using the standard Modbus-RTU protocol. Built-in power reverse-connection protection, overvoltage protection, and anti-surge and electromagnetic interference protection make it robust in demanding field installations, while the all stainless steel sealed structure carries an IP68 rating for continuous submersion.
Technical Specifications
The instrument is an integrated drop-in structure with a shielded, air-guide cable. Because the cable is generally long, a steel wire is installed alongside it to increase tensile strength and improve reliability. Once lowered into a well, the probe is hoisted at the wellhead through the cable, and the steel wire should be tightened firmly so that gravity acts mainly on the wire rather than the cable.
When installing at the wellhead, a protective cover should shield the cable connector so the air duct is not blocked (absolute pressure versions have no air duct), and the shielding wire should be connected. Users can adjust the water level zero point and density to suit the on-site medium, though the instrument is accurately calibrated at the factory and generally needs no adjustment.
