By measuring light intensity in lux at the canopy, the sensor turns lighting from a fixed schedule into a managed variable. This lets you ensure plants receive the right light for optimal growth, optimize lighting schedules and intensity to reduce energy costs, and prevent the light stress that undermines plant health.
The S3 version measures light intensity (lux) in greenhouses, grow rooms, and outdoor environments. It helps growers understand how much visible light plants receive, allowing better control of shading, supplemental lighting, and environmental conditions. The sensor has a durable aluminum housing, is waterproof (IP65), and works reliably outdoors. It mounts horizontally with the lens facing upward, away from shadows and reflective surfaces. The sensor is factory calibrated and does not require user calibration.
