Weather Station

The weather station measures seven parameters in one unit, realized through a highly integrated structure. It provides continuous online monitoring of outdoor meteorological conditions around the clock and outputs the seven parameters to the user at one time through the digital communication interface.

The temperature, humidity, and air pressure sensors sit inside a three layer outdoor radiation shield made from a special PC and fiber blend, with an internal spray insulation layer that minimizes the impact of solar radiation. Wind speed and wind direction are measured on the ultrasonic principle with no moving parts, ensuring accuracy over long term measurement. Illuminance is measured with optical elements covering a 400 to 1100 nm wavelength range.

Wind speed range customizable to 0–75 m/s. Humidity accuracy stated for 10–90% RH, no condensation. Pressure accuracy stated at 25°C, 950–1100 hPa. For wind speeds above 30 m/s, accuracy is ±(0.3+0.05V) m/s, where V is the standard wind tunnel value.

The standard product uses sleeve type fixing, sliding onto a mast and secured with M6 screws. Flange fixing and bent plate fixing adapters are available as options for different mounting surfaces and structures.

Standard units ship without a bracket. Optional 1.5 m and 1.8 m brackets can be purchased separately. The three layer radiation shield keeps the temperature, humidity, and pressure elements isolated from direct solar heating for table long term readings.
