PAR Sensor S3

Unleash the power of light with a precision PAR sensor.

Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) is the specific spectrum of light that plants use for photosynthesis. By accurately measuring PAR levels, you can optimize your greenhouse or indoor garden environment for maximum plant growth and yield. Seamlessly integrated with SensorDirector.

PAR

Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) is the specific spectrum of light that plants use for photosynthesis. The GrowDirector PAR Sensor accurately measures PAR levels so you can optimize your greenhouse or indoor garden environment for maximum plant growth and yield. Use it to adjust artificial lighting systems, or to optimize plant positioning within the greenhouse to maximize light exposure.

Seamlessly integrated with SensorDirector, the sensor turns light from a fixed schedule into a managed variable. By integrating the PAR sensor with SensorDirector, you gain access to a wealth of data that empowers you to make informed decisions and unlock the full potential of your plants.

The S3 version measures the amount of light available for plant photosynthesis in the 400 to 700 nm range. This is the part of sunlight plants use to grow, and monitoring it helps optimize lighting, shading, and greenhouse conditions. The sensor works outdoors in all weather. It mounts horizontally so the top dome faces the sky, away from shadows and reflective surfaces. The sensor is factory calibrated and does not require user calibration.
